FUNCTION
This device uses vacuum to transfer single plates from incoming trailers to a heat treat furnace feed conveyor. Trailers can have one or two piles of plates, and vacuum valves are controlled to safely remove plates weighing over 20,000 lbs. each.
BENEFIT RECEIVED
Plate unloading needs are met, and the vacuum lifting process protects plate surfaces and edges from scratches.
