FUNCTION
Grabs a 50-ton maximum weight slab and lifts it off of a pile of slabs, traverses, and lowers and places the slab on a roller table which feeds a reheat furnace. BENEFIT RECEIVED
This equipment replaced a 40+ year-old depiler, and was geared toward reducing surface scratches by eliminating pushing the top slab off of a stack of slabs. |
